Rail
Modular thermal control built for long-haul resilience.
Modern rail systems rely on a wide range of subsystems that generate and demand thermal energy, from traction motors and braking electronics to HVAC units and onboard power systems. Yet most existing flow systems are overengineered, bulky, and inefficient to maintain.
The Dectravalve provides a compact, intelligent solution to segment and control thermal flow across key zones in real time. Whether managing electric motor cooling, inverter loops, or adaptive heating for passenger compartments, the Dectravalve allows each zone to be independently opened, closed, or isolated without interrupting other circuits.
When combined with occupancy sensors or intelligent controls, the Dectravalve also supports adaptive heating in carriages, maintaining comfort while reducing energy usage in unoccupied zones. For rolling stock manufacturers and operators, this means lower running costs, improved passenger experience, and simplified system integration all while meeting the rigorous demands of rail transport.
